Aerial survey cannot replace every ground observation. Canopy cover, weather, terrain, survey timing, sensor limitations and the required level of ecological certainty all affect suitability. We identify these constraints during scoping and recommend ground integration where needed.

No. TALONYX supports the project with aerial data capture, treatment and related spatial outputs. The appointed consultants retain responsibility for professional interpretation, reporting and client advice.

Can TALONYX work as a subcontractor?

Yes. We can work directly with a client or discreetly within an environmental consultancy or project team. Scope, branding, data custody and communication responsibilities can be agreed before mobilisation.

What information is needed for a quote?

A site location or boundary, the project question, timing, intended outputs, access constraints and any relevant survey, approval, treatment or reporting requirements.

Can outputs be supplied for GIS and reporting workflows?

Yes. Deliverables can be prepared for integration with project GIS, consultant analysis and reporting. Formats, coordinate reference systems, metadata and naming conventions are agreed at scoping.

Does TALONYX use AI or automated analysis?

Where it is suitable, automation and AI-assisted methods may help classify observations, identify patterns or accelerate quality checks. They are treated as analytical tools rather than conclusions: outputs remain subject to fit-for-purpose methods, source-data review, validation, documented limitations and human accountability.
